Where to Find Hope



Ah, hope.

Hope gives people a reason to continue fighting and believing that their current circumstances will improve, despite the unpredictable nature of human existence.

To hope is to consider the reality of a situation and possess the courage to carve out a path forward despite how a situation looks or how uneasy the future seems.

How you start out is not always how you end up. We don’t have to accept or write our personal narrative around a circumstance that is within our control to change.

Losing hope is not the end. It can actually be an opportunity to learn — or relearn — what makes you excited for the future. 

Here are a few ways you can carry on in the face of disappointment and despair, and maybe even cultivate little seedlings of hope along the way:

1. Look at how far you  have already come
2. Join forces with someone who is also seeking hope
3. Build your own blueprint
4. Offer hope to someone else
5. Seek out something new

The ability to cope and to identify strategies to manage stressful life circumstances or events is central to our overall psychological well-being.
